The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for an EPA Environmental Research Assistant at the EPA facility in Ada, OK. The Assistant will assist with research to understand processes affecting the quality and availability of ground water and to evaluate and develop strategies and technologies to protect ground water resources. The job is expected to begin November 2017.
- Full time, $20.34/hour;
- Must have earned at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, geology, soil science, environmental science, environmental engineering, or another scientific discipline from an accredited university or college within the last 24 months;
- Must have experience in laboratory sample collection, data analysis and evaluation, sample preparation, and PC computer applications; and
- Will perform tasks such as analyzing soil and water samples, collecting data, performing quality assurance checks, and maintaining a laboratory notebook.
